Ogun State police command has issued a stern warning to politicians and parents to caution their supporters and children against violence, during campaigns
Spokesman of the command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi in a statement sent to The SUPREME said,
n view of the forthcoming general election and the electioneering campaign going on across the state, the Ogun state Police Command wishes to appeal to members of various political parties to eschew violence and go about their campaign in a peaceful manner.
The Command is satisfied with the peaceful conduct of parties so far and enjoined them to sustain the tempo.
The Command also wishes to appeal to candidates of all the parties to advise their supporters the need for them to play the game according to the rule, and make their campaign an issue based one rather than attacking one another.
Also, the Command wishes to assure the general public of their safety as robust security arrangement has been put in place to forestall any form of breakdown of law and order.

Parents to call their wards to order, as anyone caught fomenting trouble in any part of the state, under any guise will be dealt with in the most decisive manner.
