Civil Defence Commandant Tasks Personnel On Professionalism, Discipline

The Commandant, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, Nuhu Bello Muhammadu has charged officers and men of the corps to adhere to professionalism and discipline at all times

The Commandant stated this during a meeting with all Heads of Department, Heads of unit, Area Commanders and all Divisional Officers across 23 Local Government Areas of Kaduna State, held at the NSCDC state Headquarters, Kaduna, today Thursday, 26 September, 2024.

The Commandant further advised all senior officers to always enforce discipline among personnel, ensure that they have zero tolerance for absenteeism, adding that, as security agents, ” we are to protect lives and property in our various local government areas and wherever we find ourselves.”

While expressing happiness over the dedication and commitment of the personnel in their various areas of jurisdiction, he further enjoined them to put more efforts inorder to bring a lasting peace to Kaduna State.

He also expressed the need for all Divisional Officers of the 23 Local Government Areas, Area Commanders across the state to synergise with other security agencies in their various areas of jurisdiction with a view to improving more on the security situation in the state

“There is need for you to have synergy with other security agencies at your various Local Government Areas, to fish out criminals and bring a lasting peace to Kaduna State. As security agents, we are to protect lives and property, among other core mandates. When we collaborate with other security agencies, the job becomes easier, the people in the local government will also have freedom because criminals will be wiped out from the community completely through a joint effort,” he advised.
