Former Controversial IGP Egbetokun In Aircraft Scandal, NSA Office Mentioned

From Aruga Joe Omokaro/Haruna Tula – Abuja

The SUPREME reported two weeks ago that, it will unveil alleged monumental corruption against the immediate past controversial Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun, but many thought it was a mere propaganda.

We reported that, in our subsequent reports, we will disclose the identity of the item, and the name of the foreign company and how much was paid by the Federal Government through the Nigeria Police Force under Kayode Egbetokun.

In that our report, we reported that, Egbetokun might end up in jail as a result of alleged several petitions against him at the Presidency and at the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).

We are confident to disclose to our teeming readers that the security item we referred to in our previous publication is an aircraft.
Egberokun was alleged to have paid for the aircraft since last year (2025), but it was yet to arrive Nigeria, even after it has been allegedly paid for by the Federal Government.

We learnt that Egbetokun wrote to President Bola Tinubu and the National Assembly requesting for purchase of the aircraft to boost the fight against insecurity and the request was approved funds released in foreign currency.
“Office of the National Security Adviser is aware,” our source disclosed.

However, while payment was allegedly made by the Federal Government, Egbetokun we learnt, was still requesting for more funds on the alleged pretext that, the foreign supplier was still demanding for more funds to facilitate it’s departure to Nigeria.

“I don’t know what he was telling the Presidency that funds were still being released for the same aircraft he claimed has been paid for,” our source alleged.

We reliably learnt, that several serving and retired senior police officers are involved in the purchase of the “controversial” aircraft.
