Several worshippers escaped death this evening Tuesday 11, 2022, as church building of Salvation Ministry collapsed on them during service
The SUPREME learnt that, the service started at about 5.30pm today We learnt that less than one hour after the church service started, the one storey building collapsed on the worshippers.
We learnt that children were more affected.
We also learnt that, the building was under renovation. And that, the landlord whose names were not immediately known had advised the pastor of the church to vacate the building sending that the building was no longer safe for use.
We could not get exact details of casualties, but police spokesman of Delta State Police Command DSP Bright Edafe confirmed to The SUPREME that, “eighteen people have been rescued and are in the hospital “
Edafe said, “so far no death has been recorded “
