The Commissioner of Police, Benue State Police Command, CP Steve Yabanet, has ordered the deployment of police officers across the state to ensure security of lives and property during the forth coming Sallah celebration.
The CP also ordered all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and Tactical Commanders, to provide water tight security within their areas of responsibility, particularly prayer grounds, recreational centers, markets, motor parks, and other public places where large gatherings are expected.
CP Yabanet “warned criminals to desist from perpetuating crime or face the wrath of the law when arrested.”
The CP wishes all Muslim faithfuls a peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration .
