The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, alongside members of his management team, paid a reverential courtesy visit to the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Dr.) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okukenu IV, at the Alake’s Palace, Abeokuta.

The visit is part of the Command’s continued commitment to strengthening community policing through strategic stakeholder engagement and collaboration with traditional institutions.

The Commissioner of Police and his team were graciously received by His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Dr.) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okukenu IV, the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, in the distinguished presence of the Olu of Itori Land, His Royal Majesty Oba Abdulfatai Akorede Akamo, the Egba General Chiefs, and other illustrious sons and daughters of Egbaland.
The visit provided a valuable platform for constructive dialogue on contemporary security challenges, community policing initiatives, and the indispensable role of the traditional institution in promoting peace, security, and socio-economic development across Ogun State.

Addressing the gathering, CP Ojajuni expressed profound appreciation to His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Dr.) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okukenu IV, for his fatherly leadership, exemplary statesmanship, and unwavering commitment to the peace, unity, and progress of the state. The Commissioner also acknowledged the remarkable contributions of Egbas in the Diaspora, whose sustained engagement with the leadership of the Ogun State Police Command, constructive dialogue, and support for security initiatives continue to reflect their enduring love for their homeland and collective commitment to safeguarding lives and property.

The highly revered monarch commended CP Ojajuni for the remarkable operational strides recorded by the Ogun State Police Command since his assumption of office, particularly applauding the successes of Operation KOSAYE, which, he noted, have significantly reinforced public confidence in policing and enhanced the security of lives and property across Ogun State.
