The new Inspector-General of Police IGP Tunji Disu is expected to appoint a new Force Public Relations Officer later today.
The SUPREME reliably learnt that the new Force PRO (name with held), is an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) from the Northern part of the country.
He is expected to take over today from the immediate past Force PRO, ACP Benjamin Hundein, who was relieved of his appointment yesterday 5/2/25 by the IGP.

Just last week Tuesday, we broke the news that Kayode Egberokun will be replaced in the afternoon with a new IGP. And in the afternoon the Presidency announced Tunji Disu as the new IGP.
Again, yesterday Thursday 5/2/26, we broke the news that seven Assistant Inspectors-General (AIGs) of Police have been invited by the Police Service Commission (PSC) for screening today to be promoted to the next rank of DIGs. They are to form the new management team of the new IGP Tunji Disu. They are expected to be decorated with their new ranks and take over on Monday 9/2/26.
