In an effort to safeguard the lives and properties of Corp members deployed to Zamfara State, the Commissioner of Police, CP Kolo Yusuf on Tuesday visited the temporary site of the NYSC Orientation Camp located at Government Science Secondary School, Gusau.
The visit was aimed at strengthening the existing security emplacement of the Camp with a view to ensuring the security and safety of all the Corp Members as well as the staff of the NYSC in the camp.
The Commissioner of Police while addressing the Corp Members urged them to be conscious of their security both in the camp and at their areas of primary assignment. The CP assured them of prompt response to any distress call and advised them not to hesitate to report any suspicious character to the police.
The NYSC State Coordinator expressed appreciation to CP Kolo Yusuf and promised to work hand in hand with the Police to ensure hitch free orientation exercise.
