Delta Political and Business Leaders Forum, DPBLF, have declared their total support for President Goodluck Jonathan’s presidential bid.
The Forum pleaded with Nigerians at home and abroad to rally round President Jonathan because of his energy and vision for the country’s rapid development and dynamism to tackle emergent global challenges.
In a statement, the Forum’s spokesperson, Chief Magnus Okonkwo, listed President Jonathan’s achievements to include unity of the nation, diversification of the economy, job creation, gender equality, road maintenance, modernization and expansion of railways, grading and revamping of airports and airstrips across the country. Others are the installation of up to date navigational aids, encouragement of private airlines, giving maximum support to farmers and massive inflow of foreign investments.
“President Jonathan will ensure an improved economy and security” he said.
The Delta Political and Business Leaders Forum later honoured the Chairman of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, for putting in place cost saving measures and stringent financial management in different organizations in the country.
