Officers of the Port Harcourt Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, arrested 31 suspected internet (Yahoo) fraudsters at different locations in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The SUPREME learnt that, their arrest followed credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.
Items recovered from them include cars, smartphones, smart wristwatches, and laptop computers.
They will be charged to court upon the conclusion of the investigation.
It will be recalled that, the same Wednesday, 14th May, the EFCC also raided hideouts of the suspected yahoo boys in Benin City Edo State, and arrested 28 of them
Spokesman of the EFCC Dele Oyewale confuted the story.
