Delta State Police Command says, on 13th of October 2025, the command received a complaint via petition against one pastor of Omega Prophetic prayer Ministry based in Sapele, on allegation of defilement, rape and sexual assault. On the strength of this petition, the Commissioner of Police detailed the State Criminal Investigation Department to investigate.
On 17th of November, the suspect, identified as Pastor Daniel Ololo, was arrested at his church premises. Investigation revealed that the pastor allegedly used fake prophecy to lure vulnerable church members to his church office, coerce them into believing that if he did not have sex with them, they would not be delivered. Further Investigation revealed that he had canal knowledge of three sisters of the same mother who are his church members (names withheld), and the last victim is aged 17 years. Suspect is in custody, and Investigation is ongoing.
