Suspected armed Fulani herdsmen yesterday Sunday again lunched two different attacks killing about seven persons in Gwer West local government area of Benue State
The SUPREME learnt that, the Herdsmen numbering about 1O in the early hours of yesterday attacked Tse Gamber in Sengev Council Ward killing four persons.
A source who pleaded anonymity said, Nagi , Mbachohon Council Ward, a settlement along Naka-Agagbe road was also attacked in the evening of yesterday, killing three persons and injuring many others.
As at the time of filling this report last night, the dead bodies of those killed were yet to be removed for fear of being attacked.
The SUPREME gather that spokesperson of Benue State police command, SP Anene Sewuese Catherine, who could not officially confirm the number of deaths said, it is her village that was attacked, and that, “three of my cousin’s were killed,” she was quoted as saying.
