The secrete behind the successful raid of 106 Marshal Navy said to be on illegal secrete training by Lagos State police command, has been revealed.

Thie SUPREME investigations reveal that the strategy Lagos State Commissioner of Police (CP) Hakeem Odumosu applied in rounding up the 106 Marshal Navy personnel was that a detective was planted in their midst
The detective was said to have registered as a Marshal Navy and was undergoing the training with them.

Investigations by The SUPREME revealed that, CP Odumosu who got hint of the illegal training directed his Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in charge of Operations DC Ahmed Kontagora to ensure that the Marshal Navy personnel were rounded up without hidrance.

DC Kontagora in turn in accordance with Odumosu directive, planted a detective in their midst, who disguised as a member of the Marshal Navy.

Our investigations further reveal that the Marshal Navy were on illegal training at a hidden field near water side in Ogudu a suburb of Lagos State.

The SUPREME further learnt that, the DC on gathering adequate confidential evidence on operandi of the Marshal Navy, personally led a combat squad that rounded them up.

Our discrete investigations also reveal that, a few days to the operation, the detective was asked to withdraw from the training. ,”He was not told the reason why he was asked to withdraw” our source revealed..
The source alsi disclosed that “we didn’t want our strategy to leak “.
We also learnt that, “even the Area Commander Area H, and senior officers including those from headquarter were not told the exact operation we were going for. Some thought we were going to raid Okada’ riders. (commercial motor cyclists), our source disclosed.

The SUPREME also gathered that, as early as 6am the day they were rounded up Marine Police had stationed their boats along the water to ensure that, non of the Marshal Navy personnel escape.

Our source disclosed that, the operation which started at about 11am lasted for less than an hour.

The Marsha Navy on interrogation were said to have claimed that, they had applied to the Federal Government for approval, but that approval was yet to be received by them.

CP Odumosu could not be reached to know if they will be charged to court for illegal military training.
