Policemen from Anambra State Police Command in the early hours of today, Tuesday 12th March 2024, at Nnobi, Idemili South LGA of the stare, while on patrol with Vigilante men in Awka Etiti engaged insurgents operating in a Toyota Highlander and engaged them in a shootout.
The SUPREME learnt that, one of the insurgents was arrested with gunshot wound.
Four AK-47 Rifles and 219 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition were recovered.
The police are said to be making frantic efforts to track down the fleeing suspects
