The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, on Friday 5th June 2026 continued his visibility policing and supervisory tour across key formations and flashpoints in the State
The tour covered critical points including Edjekota junction, Evwreni juntion, Ohoro junction, and other stop and search points along the expressway, where he assessed security deployments and addressed officers on duty. He commended their efforts while reminding them that the command will not tolerate any form of misconduct or complaints from the public.
He directed that officers must be properly dressed, maintain a smart appearance, and conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the core values of the Nigeria Police Force.
He charged officers to remain vigilant, observe professionally, and engage members of the public with courtesy and respect. He warned against any form of abuse, harassment, or incivility, stressing that policing must be carried out with a human face and in strict adherence to human rights standards.
The CP reassured residents of the command’s under his leadership is committed to ensuring the safety of life and property, while urging members of the public to support the Police with credible and timely information.
