Delta State police command says, on 9/9/2021 policemen, from Abraka Police Division while on stop and search duty along Agbara road Abraka intercepted an unregistered Daylong motorcycle ridden by one Bala Abdul ‘age 21yrs old carrying one Joseph Tejri. Spokesman of the command DSO Bright Edafe said in a statement that, when the suspects were searched one locally made cut to size single barrel gun loaded with one live cartridge was recovered from Joseph Tejri ‘24yrs old of Buowa Street Abraka.
According to him, a search warrant was further executed in his house and premises where additional live cartridge was recovered.
Similarly, along Ugbedi road Abraka the same the same patrol team in concerted effort with vigilante men arrested one Franklyn Awana age 20yrs, of Okpogoro Abraka with small locally made pistol and fourteen rounds of live cartridges. on interrogation, he confessed belonging to Eiye secret cult confraternity and admitted that the guns were handed over to them by their senior cult members.
