Delta State Commissioner of Police CP Ari Mohammed Ali has disclosed that he ordered deployment enough policemen to Warii to ensure peaceful coronation of the new Oli of Warri
He told The SUPREME on phone this evening that, ‘l”m deploying 1,000 policemen to Warri for the coronation of Olu of Warri.
I have deployed two squads of EOD (anti-bomb squads/ a day before the coronation to comb the entire venue”.
The CP further explained that the 1,000 policemen include Mobile Policemen, anti-terrorists and tactical teams apart from conventional policemen.
In his words, it is my responsibility to ensure peace reigns in all parts of Delta. We will not allow hoodlums to hijack the ceremony ”
Apart from the coronation, we will continue to ensure that any form of criminality is curved to its bearest minimum in Delta State “
