A man believed to be a Police Inspector was found dead in a hotel room in Ajuwon, a suburb between Lagos and Ogun states, yesterday Saturday 15th February 2025.
The SUPREME learnt that, the man identified as Haruna Mohammed went to lodge in the hotel in Akute, with a lady at about 1.02am on Friday night, perhaps to further enjoy the Valentine blues.
We also learnt that, at about 6am yesterday, the lady whose identity was not known, went to the reception and requested for a bottle water.
At about 8.52am, a female manager of the hotel (names with held) was said to have noticed that the door of the room Haruna Mohammed lodged, was not locked, prompting her to find out why the door was not locked.
“When she opened the door, she saw the lifeless body of the said Haruna Mohammed,” a source said.
We further learnt that, owner of the hotel (names with held) reported the ugly incidence at Ajuwon Police Division at about 11.30am.
A reliable source also hinted The SUPREME that, detectives from the police station promptly went to the hotel, where they removed the corpse of Haruna Mohammed, and deposited in Life Channel Mortuary Olambe.
Our course further hinted that, the police detectives found a Police camouflage uniform with an Inspector rank and name tag with an inscription of Haruna Mohammed in his bag.
Manager of the hotel was said to have been detained for interrogation, while the lady who lodged with Haruna Mohammed was said to have escaped.
Public Relations Officer of Ogun State Police Command, a Chief Superintended of Police (CSP) Omolola Odutola,when contacted on phone this morning, to confirm if Haruna Mohammed was a Police Inspector, and where he was serving and cause of his death, she exhibited hostility and unprofessional attitude. She demanded to know the source of the story. But The SUPREME educated her that, journalists don’t disclose their sources of information; and she hung the phone.
