Former Associate Editor of The Guardian, Julius Eto losses his junior sister, Mrs. Eunice Oghenekome Eto
She was the proprietress of Treasure Hills School, Lagos.
The Eto Family of Otor Iyede, Isoko North LGA of Delta State, is in deep sorrow and mourning, but with total submission to the will of God, announced the peaceful transition of their beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunty and matriarch, Eunice Oghenekome Eto, who passed on March 20, 2026 at the age of 58.
She was a devoted woman of faith, a pillar of strength, and a source of love and wisdom to all who knew her. Her life was marked by kindness, resilience, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.
She is survived by her children, grandchild, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones.
The burial arrangements are as follows_
- Service of Songs/ Funeral Service –10 am, Friday, May 1st, 2026 at Chapel of Holy Spirit, Otor Iyede. Followed by:
- Interment at noon in her Otor-Iyede compound
