The presidential hopeful of Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi is said to have held a secret meeting with a former governor of Delta State (names withheld).
The SUPREME exclusively learnt during last Yuletide that, Obi met with the former governor early in December 2022.
A senior employee of the former governor was said to have met Peter Obi with his boss at the Lagos residence of the former governor
After Obi left, the staff was said to have asked his boss if he is also Obi-dient, and the former governor was said to have answered rhetorically thus: “Who else do you want me to support? “I have no fate in other candidates,” he was quoted to have told the staff.
Though The SUPREME could not get details of the discussions between Peter Obi and the former governor, we reliably learnt that, the former governor assured Obi of his landslide victory in Delta State
We also learnt that a presidential candidate from the North earlier visited the former governor also at his Lagos residence, shortly before Obi met with the former governor.
Our source hinted that, the former governor “is not disposed to the Northern candidate “
